England Kabaddi Association has been invited to the House of Commons on 27th November
November 27, 2025
Big news for the kabaddi community! 🎉
Ashok Das — better known as Kabaddi Daddy and President of the England Kabaddi Association — has been invited to the House of Commons on 27th November by Sureena Brackenridge MP and Warinder Juss MP!
He’ll be heading there with players and officials to shine a light on the Association’s amazing work in boosting community engagement, diversity, and the growth of kabaddi across the UK.
And what a year it’s been! In March 2025, the team made history by hosting the first-ever Kabaddi World Cup outside of Asia, right here in the Midlands. Both the England Men’s and Women’s teams stormed their way to the finals — finishing as runners-up and making the whole nation proud. 🇬🇧
This is a massive milestone for the sport and a reflection of the passion, commitment, and vision driving England Kabaddi forward. 🙌
Let’s keep the momentum going and bring even more people into the world of kabaddi! 💪🔥
