EKA Unveils National Championship Teams Ahead of Wolverhampton Showdown

Eight distinguished teams from across England will battle it out for glory and a cash prize reward, with each squad representing the very best of Kabaddi talent in their respective cities.

The England Kabaddi Association (EKA), in collaboration with Sporting Equals, has officially revealed the line-up of elite teams set to compete in the National Kabaddi Championship on Sunday, 2nd November 2025. The tournament will take place at Heath Park School, Wolverhampton, promising a full day of high-octane action and regional pride.

Eight distinguished teams from across England will battle it out for glory and a cash prize reward, with each squad representing the very best of Kabaddi talent in their respective cities. The confirmed teams include:

Manchester Raiders

Cambridge University Kabaddi Club

Reading Warriors

Birmingham Bulls

Leeds Titans

Worcester Royals

Luton Tigers

London Lions

“This championship is a celebration of community, competition, and culture,” said an EKA spokesperson. “We’re proud to showcase the strength and diversity of Kabaddi across the country.”

The event will be streamed live on YouTube via youtube.com/kabaddico, allowing fans from all corners of the UK to tune in and support their local heroes.
